Maxine Hollen Lehosit, 86, of Nutter Fort, WV, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at her residence. She was born at Ten Mile in Buckhannon, WV on January 3, 1934, a daughter of the late John V. Hollen Sr. and Theda (Tinder) Hollen.

In addition to her parents Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Lehosit on July 30, 1989, and five siblings: Margaret Joan Caputo and husband John, James E. Hollen, Sandra S. Reid, John Hollen Jr., and Roberta L. Grass.
Maxine is survived by four siblings: Donis R. Roach of Richmond, VA, Gary L. Hollen of Ten Mile, WV, Robert L. Hollen of Highland Springs, VA, and William R. “Bill” Hollen of Nutter Fort. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Maxine was a graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School and Catholic by Faith. She was a hard worker and over the years had worked as a glass worker, a waitress in Buckhannon, and most recently as a cook at the Clique Club in Clarksburg. Maxine loved traveling especially to the beach, her most favorite being Daytona and Panama City. She also enjoyed a good yard sale and being around people. Maxine will be remembered as a good soul and a true giver, to her family and many friends.
