To know Sheila is to have known someone who loved her sons especially dearly; believed in the enduring bonds of family and all that came with that, ups and downs; who loved music, and football season and gardening; and the memories preserved in pictures that she loved sharing with visitors to her home. We would talk about ridiculous story lines on tv shows; her life as she would remember it before her accident claimed some of those memories; her downright guts to come through those trials, but what I will always think of when I think of you Sheila, is your sense of humor. Through it all, through the pain on any given day, I could count on something striking you funny, and then would came your great laugh. Smile, and laugh and love now in peace.

I met Sheila Richards in the early 70s during the worst winter blizzard, icy storm, we have ever seen. We were going down North 5th Street and had a little fender-bender as we were both stuck in our cars we both had to crawl out of our Windows to get out. Determined to go to 'The Top of The Tree' (Glen Elk 1970s live bands)we slid down 5th Street laughing all the way making it to our destination. Once we arrived, we laughed, danced and had tons of fun. I knew then I had met my sister for life. she was a joy to me and always will be. I loved her so much. We loved thrifting, movies..but most of all, we both loved rock and roll! she was the best and I will miss her dearly every day of my life all I can say is save me a seat Sheila cuz I want to be there with you so we can laugh again. I will miss you so much rock on sister ...rock and roll💔
