William U. “Bill” Caloccia Jr., 67, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA following and extended illness. He was born in Clarksburg on November 14, 1951, a son of the late William U. Caloccia Sr. and Helen L. (Gumm) Caloccia. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rebecca Lee (Cross) Caloccia.

In addition to his wife Bill is survived by two daughters: Heidi Lee Holley and husband Christopher of Lowell, NC and Tiffany Rose Caloccia and long-time friend Timothy Pate of Clarksburg; two grandchildren: Christopher T. Holley and William O. Holley of Lowell, NC; and three sisters: Leita Stewart of Fairmont, Carla Stevens of Matthews, NC, and Carrie Hendershot of Fairmont.
William was a graduate of Victory High School Class of 1969, received his A.B. in Teaching at Fairmont State, and his Masters in Safety from WVU. He taught in Harrison County at Liberty High School for many years, retiring in 2012. When he was younger he enjoyed helping his father at the family business, State Auto Wrecking. Bill was a hard worker and very ambitious, he also loved working on cars. When he wasn’t teaching or working Bill liked dancing, cooking, and socializing with his many friends. He attended Horizons Church at Lost Creek, was a member of the Hermon Lodge #6 Clarksburg and a member of the Nemesis Shriners of Parkersburg.
Family and friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home 329 E. Main Street Clarksburg, WV, on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 4 until 8pm. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11am with Pastor Steve Felder presiding. Interment will follow at Bridgeport Cemetery where Masonic Graveside Rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Bill’s name may be made to the Wilson Currey Scholarship Fund through Liberty High School.
