Veronica L. Harper, 41, of Nutter Fort, WV, let loose of honey’s hand and walked with Jesus into her heavenly home on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was the granddaughter of Reida Cogar of Nutter Fort and the late Denver Cogar.

In addition to her loving grandmother, Veronica is survived by her biological parents Ronnie Harper of Clarksburg and Sandra “Becky” Cogar McAtee of Anmoore; brother Zach Harper; sister Catlin McDonald; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Veronica graduated from Robert C. Byrd High School Class of 1999. She was very competitive in sports, especially bowling, bocce, and swimming. Veronica enjoyed fundraising projects for Special Olympics and was a poster child for United Way. In her free time, she loved pictures, television, watching DVDs and playing on the tablet. Her favorite entertainer was “The Rock.” Veronica was loved by everyone and always made people smile. Her kind heart and affectionate smile will never be forgotten.
Family and friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home 329 E. Main Street Clarksburg, WV, on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 9am until the funeral hour at 11am.
