Charlene Sheila “Grandma” Malloe, 84, of West Milford, WV passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 surrounded by her family and close friends after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on January 27, 1935 in Stonewood, a daughter of the late Wilber Charles and Carrie Mae (Beech) Sibert.

In addition to her parents Charlene was preceded in death by her husband Albert “Manu” Malloe; son, Linden Bailey; and great-granddaughter Alyssa Harvey.

Charlene was the mother to five children: Richard Bailey and wife Mila, Peggy Banish and late husband John, Neil Bailey, and Gary Bailey and wife Tonya; the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren: Shannon Banish, Theodore “Bear” Scranta and wife Jessica, Clifford “CJ” Scranta and wife Erica, Leisa Timm, John Banish, Aryssa Debrum and husband Ernest, Andrea Martinez and husband Fernando, Brent Bennett and wife Ashley, Zach Merancio, Josh Merancio, Tony Merancio and wife Bridget, Lindena Bailey, Joseph Bailey, John Bailey, and Harley Bailey; wonderful great-grandmother to 20: Kamryn Tharp, Theodore “Cubby” Scranta, Hayden Scranta, Brett Scranta, Derek Scranta, Morgan Timm and fiancé Joseph Wellman, Zaiden Banish, Ezrak Debrum, Brenton Bennett, Kaylea Bennett, Clayden, Adrianna, Jared and Kinsley Bailey, and Quinn, Noah and Julian Merancio; and a great great-grandmother to Alyssa Wellman.

Charlene was always full of life and enjoyed being around friends and family. She lived life to the fullest every day! She left friends and family with so many great memories, and will be dearly missed.

Charlene has long requested not to be viewed or have any public services in her honor. She instead requested that her life be celebrated by family and friends while reminiscing the many wonderful memories she left behind. In lieu of flowers donations would be grealty appreciated to assist with the financial burden this illness has left and may be made payable to Harrison County Bank c/o Peggy Banish for Charlene Malloe or via GoFundMe Online condolences, The Davis-Weaver Funeral Home is honored to serve the Malloe Family during this time.
