Donald “Eugene” Fincham, 66, of Clarksburg, WV (Arlington Addition), passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the United Hospital Center in Clarksburg. He was born in Clarksburg on October 29, 1952 a son of the late Nelson and Madeline (Helmick) Fincham.

In addition to his parents Donald was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles “Bobo” Fincham and Richard Fincham.
Eugene is survived by his long-time companion Connie Simons of 25 years, and two children: Rachelle D. Fincham Smith and husband Josh of Fairmont and Dakota K. Simons of Adamston; four grandchildren: Zoey and Zayden Smith and Abriana Smons and Soloman Sattferfield; and siblings, Minnie Darlene Anderson of Lost Creek, and Joseph “Joe” Fincham and wife Wilma of Clarksburg. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Donald was Baptist by faith and worked as a truck driver in various fields for over 40 years. He enjoyed competition shooting and won several events. He also liked NASCAR, WVU football, fishing, hunting, and was an excellent hardwood floor installer. His family referred to him as the “weatherman” as he would always give them the forecast. Eugene’s greatest love though was his grandchildren; they were “the love of his life.”
Eugene’s wishes for cremation will be honored and a Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2pm at the Glen Falls Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and all family and friends are invited to come celebrate his life.
