June's gift of connecting to others, making them feel special will live on in memories. My Dad - Thomas Patton had a special bond with his cousins Melvin and June. A post card correspondence sent by Dad from Okinawa on December 14, 1945 to his cousin June began "Hey Sweet One, How's my 'favorite' cousin and top pin up girl?" There was always a sweet playfulness between the cousins,. Get togethers with good food, desserts, laughter, and support. I am certain my Dad was there to greet June into Heaven. Love to all family and friends that will miss this great soul. Marnita Patton and Mark Banta

Tom, Donna and Family, I was so sad to see that June had passed away. Had no idea she was 102 years old. Even in her 90's I never thought of her as old as she had such a spunky personality. She was such a kind neighbor to my Mom (Alice Meadows) who lived at Maplewood just down the hall. She was always so nice to me and I always enjoyed my moments with her and later, our chats at BUMC. Sincere sympathy to you all.

Dear Tom and Donna, Please accept my sincere condolence in the death of June. My dad, Paul Brown, was a long-time friend of John's, and, my husband, Bunie Harper (who passed away last month), knew June during his employment with Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. It doesn't matter how old they are, it's still hard to lose a parent. Sincerely, Evelyn
