Lora Mae “Daisy” Collins, 76, of Clarksburg, WV (Northview Community), passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Meadowview Manor in Bridgeport. She was born in Harrison County on August 28, 1942, a daughter of the late Semone and Neva (Greathouse) Cabaret.

In addition to her parents Lora was preceded in death by her husband Jackson Lee Collins; her longtime companion Terry Anthony Smith; one daughter Terry Lyn Smith; and one brother James Cabaret.
Daisy is survived by five children: Betty Ann Collins of Stonewood, Jackson Lee Collins of Morgantown, Lora Mae Swiger and husband Richard of Clarksburg, Timothy Kendall “Tim” and wife Loretta of Clarksburg, and Evelyn Kay Dodd and husband Richard of Stonewood; one brother Steve Cabaret of Worthington; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Lora was a homemaker most of her life and a very independent and kind hearted woman. She loved doing crafts, especially crochet and quilting. Daisy also enjoyed her favorite television shows such as Andy Griffith, The Waltons, and Little House on the Prairie. She was an excellent cooked and enjoyed making meals for her family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home 329 E. Main Street Clarksburg, WV, on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 10am until the funeral hour at 12 Noon with Pastor Richard Settles presiding.
