Mildred Murlene McCue Queen Harmon, of Bridgeport, WV, died on January 4, 2019 at Meadowview Manor in Bridgeport, WV.

She was born in the Adamston section of Clarksburg on July 2, 1920, a daughter of the late James A. and Helena “Lena” (Yost) McCue.
Her first husband Denver C. Queen whom she married in 1943 preceded her in death in 1956. Her second husband William S. Harmon whom she married in 1961 also preceded her in death in 1996.
Surviving are one son and his wife Kenneth E. and Sandra J. Knapp Queen of Bruceton Mills, WV; one grandson Kenneth E. “Beau” Queen II of Pasadena, MD; one granddaughter and her husband Melissa A. (Queen) and J. Colby Smith of Gore, VA; two great granddaughters: Savanna R. Smith of Cheyenne, WY, and Samantha M. (Smith) Dancy of Leesburg, VA; one brother Paul Frederick McCue of Clarksburg, WV; one nephew and wife Randall F. and Marjorie McCue of New Market, MD; and several cousins.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and his wife, James E. “Jim” McCue and Garnett Jeffrey McCue.
Mrs. Harmon was a 1939 graduate of Victory High School. She was retired in 1972 from Hazel Atlas / Continental Can / Brockway Glass Co. with 31 years of service as a selector-packer. She also was a member of the National AARP and Calvary United Methodist Church. Mildred enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, canning, and sewing. She was also very much family oriented and loved doing whatever she could to help her family, friends, and neighbors.
Family and friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home 329 E. Main Street Clarksburg, WV, on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 4 until 8pm. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11am with Pastor Rick Owens presiding, visitation will begin that morning at 9am.
