Mary Virginia “Jenny” Arnett, age 79, Mt. Clare, WV and formerly of Summit Park
died at 3:15 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2003 in United Hospital Center.
She was born in Mabie, WV September 6, 1923 a daughter of the late Paul Wamsley
and the late Daisy Markley Wamsley.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carl Arnett; also surviving are two
daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Warren Nicholson, Durbin, WV and Donna and
Ronald Cabo, Mt. Clare, WV, two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Diane
Arnett, Summit Park and John and Sharon Arnett, Westfield, N C, two sisters, Polly Burks, Buckeye, WV and Lorraine Burks, Hillsboro, WV, three brothers, Frank Wamsley, Millcreek, WV, Bayard Wamsley, Helvitia, WV and John Wamsley, Summit Park, WV, ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Carrie Arbogast, Marie Moss and
Josephine Wamsley.
Mrs. Arnett was a homemaker and was a Baptist by faith.
Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street,
Clarksburg from 2 - 9 P.M. Friday. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 1:30 P.M. with the Reverend Rick Owens presiding. Interment will be in the Lost Creek Seventh Day Baptist Church Cemetery (Brick Church).
