She was born in Clarksburg on June 5, 1930, a daughter of the late James Bateman and Louise (Williams) Bateman. Surviving are two sisters, Mildred E. Seaman of The Heritage, Bridgeport and Mary Bateman Davis, Morgantown, WV, one brother, James A. Bateman, Fla. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Seaman and Edward Seaman, one sister, Phyllis Seaman Fish. There will be no visitation and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
