Childers, age 60 of Clarksburg, WV departed this life on Sat., July 3, 2010 at the United Hospital Center, Clarksburg. He was born in Clarksburg, WV on Sept. 19, 1949, a son of the late Terry C. Childers and Rosella (Chicarell)Childers. Surviving are his wife, Sharon K. (Clark) Childers, one son, Terry Childers, Plymouth, PA, three step children, John Brown, Harlan, KY, Sherri Crim, St. Cloud, FL and Cindy Coonrad, Anchorage, AK, one sister, Rennae Childers Bludsworth, Deland, FL, 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Childers Grotie. Mr. Childers was retired with 34 years service with the Harrison County Board of Education and was a member of the WV School of Service Personnel and the AFL-CIO. He was a member of the Harrison and Doddridge Counties E M S and the A M C A , Clarksburg Model Aviation Club. There will be a memorial service will be held on Tues., July 13, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the East View Community Center. (Top)
