Helen Lucy Knapp Westfall, age 79 of Hepzibah, WV departed this life on Thurs., July 1, 2010 at Meadowview Manor in Bridgeport, WV. She was born
on Jan. 30, 1931, a daughter of the late Robert Cecil Knapp and Hallie (Dobbins) Knapp.
Her husband, Charles Edward Westfall, Sr., preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 2005.
Surviving are three daughters, Carrie Vanscoy, Hepzibah, WV, Janet Carr, Pinella Park, FL and Helen Darlene Warner, Buckhannon, WV, five sons, Charles
Westfall II, NC, David Westfall, MD, Michael Westfall, Elkins, Robert Westfall,
Buckhannon, WV and Randy Westfall, Buckhannon, WV, one sister,
Blanche Reva Fowler, Clarksburg, WV, 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Westfall, two brothers,
Glenn and Cecil Knapp and a sister, Ella Richards.
Mrs. Westfall was a Baptist.
Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main St., Clarksburg from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wed., July 7, 2010 with the Rev. Rodney McClung presiding. Interment
will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. |
