She was born in Clarksburg, WV on Nov. 29, 1931, a daughter of the late Woods Fowler and Beth (Kidd) Fowler. Her husband, Charles Johnson, preceded her in death on Mar. 25, 1991. Surviving are two sons, Charles W. Johnson and his wife Cheryl, Philippi, WV and Steven Johnson and his wife Christina, Clarksburg, WV, two daughters, Vonda Oates and her husband Art, Pensacola, FL and Vana Moore and her husband Clyde, Elkview, WV, three sisters, Anna Mae Onestinghel and her husband John, Clarksburg, WV, Francie Lynch and her husband Donnie, Clarksburg, WV and Penny McNabb and her husband Bob, Ravenswood, WV, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Vogel and Lou Weekley. Georgetta enjoyed traveling with her sisters and sister-in-law and she liked to crochet. The family wishes to express a special thanks to her care givers Marlene Lamp and Debbie Penny. Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main St., Clarksburg from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Sat. July 3, 2010 with the Rev. Delma W. Parris presiding. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery. (Top)
