Mrs. Bertha Marie Dotson Ayersman, age 91, of 100 Parkway Dr., formerly of
Clarksburg Towers, Clarksburg, WV died at 2:50 A.M. Friday, June 20, 2003 at
Heartland of Clarksburg following an extended illness. She was born November 27, 1911 in Five Forks, Ritchie County, WV a daughter of the late Closton H. Riggs and Mary C. Matheny Riggs.
Twice married, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Ralph L. Dotson
and Donald Ayersman.
Surviving are, one son and daughter-in-law, Bailey E. and Marilou Dotson, Denver, Colorado, a grandson, Brandon Dotson, Oxford, England and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ayersman was also preceded in death by one brother, Luther E. Riggs, and five sisters, Mrs. Berkeley (Vada Opal) Ball, Mrs. James (Ruby) Wilson, Mrs. Dick (Edna) Rice, Mrs. Pearl Kirchner, and Mrs. Gale (Eva) Anderson.
A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Ayersman on Monday, June 30, 2003 at
11:00 A.M. at the Mt. Storm Cemetery, Mt. Storm, Grant County, West Virginia.
