She was born in Clarksburg, WV on Sept. 4, 1912, a daughter of the late Francesco Barberio and Teresa (Martire) Barberio. Surviving are three sisters, Marguerite Barberio, Clarksburg, Maria Barberio, Clarksburg and Frances Diaz, Clarksburg and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Michaelina Conley and Rosina Oliveto and a brother, John J. Barberio. Thelma was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Clarksburg. Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main St., Clarksburg from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday. A prayer service will be held at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Hilarion Cann as celebrant. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. (Top)
