He was born in Clarksburg, WV, May 22, 1951 a son of Bernard P. Ash of Bridgeport, WV and the late Shirley S. Frum Ash. Surviving are; his loving wife of 38 years, Diana L. Hyatt Ash, whom he married July 3, 1971, two sons & daughters-in-law, Timothy P. & Tesa H. Ash & Brian P. & Penny L. Ash, all of Clarksburg, WV. Mr. Ash lived his life for his eight grand- children, Tiffannie P. Ash, Collin M. Ash, Taylor E. Ash, Bryton A. Ash, Damion B. Ash, Trenton T. Ash, Dravon D. Ash & Trinity L. Ash. He is also survived by two brothers, Joseph E. Helms , Clarksburg, WV & Charles W. Helms, Bridgeport, WV, a sister & brother-in-law, Robin D. & Richard Jones, of NC, two nephews; Zack & Zane Maditz of NC, a special aunt & uncle, Barbara Jo & Charles Utt, a special sister-in-law, Lucinda “Toby” Cottrill and a special friend of his father’s Denise Moss. Mr. Ash was a loving active member of the Word of Life Assembly of God Church in Sun Valley. He was a member of the U. S. Chito-Ryu Karate Federation for over twenty years. He was a member of the Men’s Auxiliary of the Clarksburg V.F.W. Post # 573. He was a graduate of the old Victory High School - Class of 1969. He had worked at Brockway & Anchor Hocking Glass Companies from 1970 until they closed. Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street, Clarksburg from 10:00 A. M. til 1:00 P. M. Monday, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 P. M. with Pastor George Mesto presiding. Interment will follow in Bridgeport Cemetery. (Top)
