Dorothy Marie Hupps Adams, age 72, of 2545 Park Drive, Sanford, FL,
passed away, Thursday, February 19, 2009 at her residence following an
extended illness. She was born in Clarksburg, WV, March 28, 1936, a
daughter of the late Peter Phillip Hupps and Mrs. Geneva Barker Hupps
of 406 Oakwood Avenue, Stonewood, WV.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by, one daughter, Debbie Adams
Stone, Sanford, FL, one brother & sister-in-law, Robert G. & Rebecca Hupps,
Stonewood, WV, two sisters & a brother-in-law, Norma & Harry Sanders,
Clarksburg and Rosemary Hupps Paugh, Stonewood, WV, two grandchildren,
Tabitha Adams & Adam Stone and several nieces & nephews.
Dorothy was, in addition to her father, also preceded in death by a son,
Richard Adams, Jr.
Dorothy had been employed as a press operator for a dry cleaners in Sanford, FL.
Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street,
Clarksburg from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, where a funeral service will be
held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jerome Lewis
and Dr. James A. Ash presiding. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park
Cemetery.
