Leave Condolence for Barrick, Minetta Lane Flint View Condolence for Barrick, Minetta Lane Flint Print This Page Barrick, Minetta Lane Flint Date of Birth:.Feb. 2, 1932 Date of Death:.Aug. 21, 2008 Minetta Lane Flint “Sparky” Barrick, 76, of Bridgeport, went home to her Lord Jesus Christ on August 21, 2008. Born in Warren, Ohio on February 2, 1932, she was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Flint Chrisman, her father, Stanley Flint, and her brother, Ronald Flint. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William “Mike” Barrick of the home; her children, Michelle “Mickey” and David Hill of New Haven, IN, Michael and Sarah Barrick of Granite Falls, NC, and April and Tom Ball of Glen Allen, VA; her grandchildren, Amanda Hill McLeod and her husband Tommy, Margaret Lindsay Barrick, Allyn Barrick, Olivia Ball, and Cameron Ball; her great-grandchildren, Sophia and Kaitlyn McLeod; and a brother, David Flint of Granite Falls, NC and his wife Jackie and daughters, Laura and Lucee. Mrs. Barrick was a retired teacher, having taught for 35 years. She taught in Aberdeen, MD, at St. Mary’s Catholic School and St. James Catholic School in Clarksburg, and Johnson Elementary School in Bridgeport. She was a devoted and faithful member of All Saints Catholic Church in Bridgeport. Visitation will be at All Saints Catholic Church on Sunday, August 24 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm with a Catholic Vigil Prayer Service at 7:30 pm. Her life will be celebrated in a Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church on Monday, August 25 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Bridgeport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Barrick’s memory should be made to the Challenger Division of Bridgeport Little League with contributions sent to Mike Martin, 306 W.
