Mr. Charles W. Bailey, age 62, of 212 Broadway Avenue, Clarksburg, WV
passed away at 6:38 A.M. on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Ruby Memorial Hospital
in Morgantown, WV. He was born in Clarksburg, WV July 3, 1944 a son of the late
George W. Bailey and Delphia Blair Bailey.
Surviving are, his wife of forty years, Flora DeWeese Bailey, whom he married
June 28, 1966, two brothers-in-law & spouses, Winfred C. & Patricia DeWeese,
Morgantown, WV and Basil & Ruth DeWeese, Eberbach, Germany and several
nieces and nephews and great nieces & great nephews
Mr. Bailey was also preceded in death by two brothers, James L. Bailey and
George Cecil Bailey and a sister, Gladys Jean Ables.
Mr. Bailey was Baptist by faith. He had been employed as a general laborer in
construction work. Having last worked for William A. Hazel Construction in
Chantilly, VA and P. & W. Excavating in McConnellsburg, PA.
Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street,
Clarksburg from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Monday. A graveside service will be held
at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with
Pastor James R. Nuzum presiding. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial
Gardens.
