Raymond Lester Singleton, 67, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017. He was born in Painesville, OH on May 27, 1950, a son of the late James Lester Singleton and Barbara Ellen (DeMasters) Singleton Creamer.
In addition to his parents Raymond was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Singleton.
He is survived by many good friends and neighbors, including special friends Patricia Lowe and Ralph Thomas.
Raymond lived in Ohio for many years and retired as a shipping foreman with Linderme Tube Company in Cleveland. He returned home to West Virginia and was very devoted to caring for his mother until her passing in 2015. He enjoyed anything outdoors, gardening, home projects, and socializing with his neighbors and friends. Ray loved his cats and liked walking at the VA trail.
Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home 329 E. Main Street Clarksburg, WV, on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 9am until the time of the service at 11am with Rev. Johnie Cole presiding. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
