Each of the staff members at Davis-Weaver Funeral Home is committed to providing your family with the finest in personal end-of-life care. In fact, for years, it’s been comforting for area families to know that we are available to help at any time of the day or night.

When a loved one dies, all you need to do is make one phone call. From that moment on, we’ll take on the responsibilities of the physical care of your loved one, and the emotional care of those left behind.

Please take a few minutes to get to know our funeral home staff. We’re sure you’ll find each of us to be all that you would hope for in a trusted funeral professional.

Bradley J. Mayle, General Manager/Licensee in Charge

Bradley will be there from the initial first call, to long after the funeral service is over by even offering his assistance with estate and insurance processing which he feels should be a common practice of any funeral director.  “It is truly an honor to have such a sacred trust placed in your care at the time someone loses a loved one.  I value offering professional, dignified, yet personal services to those we serve. “

Benjamin S. Mayle, Assistant Manger/Apprentice Director

A graduate of Grafton High School, then received an Associate in Applied Sciences with an emphasis in Business Management/Event Planning from Fairmont State University, and holds an Associate in Specialized Technology degree with emphasis in Funeral Service Arts & Sciences from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, and most recently received his Crematory Operator Certificate from the Cremation Association of North America.  Benjamin brings ten years experience of working in the funeral profession; he is currently the Business Manager at the Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home in Flemington, WV as well as the Assistant Manager/ Co-Owner of Davis-Weaver Funeral Home. Ben is also an active member of the Clarksburg Lions Club and serves on it's Board of Directors.  When asked, “Why did you choose to be a funeral director?” Benjamin's response, “This is the most difficult and trying time for anyone who looses a loved one, so by being able to plan out and organize this “life event” for them it enables me to help lift that extra burden from the family.  That hug, kind word, and the lasting friendships  I have gained afterwards are the most rewarding aspect to this career.”  Benjamin looks forward to his future at Davis-Weaver and has made Clarksburg his home now so he is always close to help those he serves.
